Laser Hair Removal

$ Based on Area

Feel your best by relieving yourself of the need to constantly shave undesirable face and body hair. With the use of laser technology, we now have a permanent way to get rid of unsightly hair, leaving behind smooth, healthy skin. Laser hair removal usually requires two to six treatments. The interval between treatments will vary depending on the location. On areas where hair grows quickly, such as the upper lip, the treatment might be repeated in four to eight weeks. On areas of slow hair growth, such as the back, the treatment might be every 12 to 16 weeks.

  • What is microneedling?
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves using a device with tiny needles to create micro-injuries on the skin. This process stimulates the body's natural healing response, leading to increased collagen and elastin production, which can improve the texture, tone, and overall appearance of the skin. Because this process triggers the body's natural healing process, microneedling is one of the most natural techniques to renew your skin.
  • How does microneedling work?
During microneedling, the device creates tiny punctures on the surface of the skin, which triggers the body's natural healing response. This response stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, two essential proteins that help keep the skin firm, smooth, and elastic. As a result, microneedling can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, scars, and hyperpigmentation.
  • How many treatments are needed?
The number of treatments needed varies depending on the individual and the desired results. Generally, a series of 3-6 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, is recommended to achieve optimal results. However, some people may see improvement after just one treatment.
  • Who is a candidate for microneedling?
Microneedling can be administered to almost all skin types. Our highly trained and experienced aestheticians or Medical Director will advise you on the different microneedling options that best suit you and can achieve your desired results. While microneedling is a very safe procedure, some people should avoid it. Patients should not undergo microneedling treatment if they have used Botox in the last two weeks or the acne medication Accutane in the last six months. Microneedling should also be avoided if you have difficulty healing from wounds, are currently taking anticoagulant medications, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have active acne, regular microneedling should be avoided. However, you would then be a candidate for the Virtue RF treatment which is safe on acne and effective at treating it.
  • What is the recovery time after microneedling?
The recovery time after microneedling varies depending on the depth of the treatment and the individual's skin. After the treatment, the skin may be red and slightly swollen, similar to a mild sunburn. The skin may feel warm to the touch. This usually subsides within a few days, and most people can resume their normal activities immediately after the procedure. It is essential to protect the skin from sun exposure and use gentle skincare products for several days after the treatment.
  • When will I see the results from my first microneedling treatment?
The full results of your first microneedling procedure will be visible within two to four weeks. To maximize results, however, most people typically require multiple treatments. The number of treatments depends on the individual’s skin needs and desired outcome. Most people achieve their desired results in three to eight sessions. Combining the results with topical retinol or laser treatments can speed up the process and enhance results.
  • Is microneedling painful?
Microneedling is generally well-tolerated, and most people report only mild discomfort during the procedure. The device used during microneedling has very fine needles, and a topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure to minimize any discomfort.
  • What are the benefits of microneedling?
There are many benefits to microneedling treatment. Some include: Decreased hyperpigmentation and age spots Diminished scars, stretch marks and acne scars Enhanced skin texture and tone Fewer fine lines and wrinkles Improved skin firmness and elasticity Minimized pore size Tighter, lifted skin due to the collagen production
  • What is the difference between regular microneedling and Virtue RF microneedling?
The main difference between regular microneedling and Virtue RF microneedling is that Virtue RF combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy. Regular microneedling involves using a device with tiny needles to create microchannels in the skin. These microchannels stimulate the skin's natural healing process, leading to collagen production, skin rejuvenation, and improved texture. Virtue RF microneedling, on the other hand, deliver radiofrequency energy deep into the skin, promoting collagen and elastin remodeling. This results in improved skin tightening and lifting, in addition to the benefits of regular microneedling. Another key difference is that Virtue RF microneedling uses a robotic precision delivery system that reduces trauma and discomfort during the procedure compared to traditional microneedling. Overall, while both treatments offer benefits for skin rejuvenation and anti-aging, Virtue RF microneedling offers a more advanced and comprehensive approach to skin tightening, lifting, and texture improvement.

This FDA-cleared device is used by professional skincare providers to rejuvenate skin from the inside out for younger-looking skin. How does SkinPen work?
